Calling All Young Inventors!
Who: All K-8 Students in Vermont with a desire to be creative, innovative and entrepreneurial. Students from all over the state are welcome to participate!
What: Participants come up with an original invention that addresses a problem or meets a need in our society.
- Inventors research the problem, generate an idea, and then design, build and test their invention. Inventors showcase their invention at the Fair and communicate their ideas to the general public and a panel of judges.
- If selected, top inventors from each age group will have the opportunity to participate in the U.S National Invention Convention Fair in Dearborn, MI.
- The Invention Fair is part of the Young Inventors’ Program (YIP), a project-based learning experience that builds 21st century skills. YIP is a member of Invention Convention Worldwide in partnership with the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
