Summer 2018 Offerings
Garden Diggers
Join us for a week filled with garden themed activities! Campers will enjoy harvesting veggies, planting seeds, doing garden arts and crafts, learning about compost, making healthy snacks and just plain ‘ole playing in the dirt! Daily activities will also include water play, a visit to a local community garden, and trip to the Shelburne beach for fun in the sun.
- Times & Dates: July 9-13 (9 am-3 pm)
- Grades: Entering K-2nd
- Instructor: Marie Fetters
- Cost: $300/week; additional $25/day for after camp program (3-5:30 pm)
Day Adventurers
Looking for that all-around day camp experience? Join our Adventurers summer camp! Campers will spend their days playing outdoor games, doing water play and summer themed crafts. They will also take field trips to nearby locations to hike, swim and explore the great outdoors! Each week will be different and full of friendships, new experiences and explorations.
- Times & Dates: July 16-20 & July 23-27 (9 am-3 pm)
- Grades: Entering 1st-4th
- Instructor: Erin Fuchs (Certified Teacher, Lifeguard and Wilderness Guide)
- Cost: $300/week; additional $25/day for after camp program (3-5:30 pm)
Wilderness Explorers
Imagine hiking in the mountains with a group of friends and only a pack on your back. If this sounds like a fun adventure, then our Wilderness Expedition week is for you! Campers will spend the first part of the week visiting local parts and swimming spots, and learning necessary skills for camping and backpacking (i.e. packing, setting up a tent, cooking, route planning, orienteering and leave no trace). The week will culminate with an overnight camping excursion.
- Times & Dates: July 30-August 3 (9 am-3 pm; Thursday overnight)
- Grades: Entering 5th-7th

We require a non-refundable $75 deposit, payable by check to Vermont Day School, by May 15, 2018 to reserve a spot in one of our camps. Checks may be dropped off at our front desk or mailed to Vermont Day School (6701 Shelburne Road, Shelburne VT 05482). Thank you!
