Whitaker Newton, VDS 2nd grader, was recently featured in several news publications, as the first Vermont participant at the U.S. National Invention Fair in Dearborn, Michigan. Whitaker and his original invention, the “Octo Ocean Vacuum” was a top contender at the Vermont Day School Invention Fair and the regional New England Fair at the University of New Hampshire.
