Please join us for our first Parent Committee meeting of the school year on Tuesday, October 4th @ 8:15 am. This is a an opportunity to get to know other parents and help plan school events. All are welcome to attend!

We are excited to host our first-ever Grandparents and Friends visiting day! Our special visitors will have the opportunity to visit the classrooms, meet your child’s teachers and classmates, and experience learning at Vermont Day School. Invitations will be mailed to grandparents and friends with event details. We kindly ask that you RSVP for this event.

Vermont Day School will be closed on Monday, September 9th, in observance of Labor Day. School resume on Tuesday, September 10th. Enjoy the long weekend!

Please join us on Thursday, September 15th at 6 pm for Curriculum Night at Vermont Day School! This is an opportunity to meet with our faculty and learn more about your child’s literacy, global studies, math, STEM, art, music, Spanish and PE curriculum for the upcoming school year. We hope you will join us!

Ambient Photography will be coming to Vermont Day School on September 16th to take individual and class photos. Photo order forms will be sent home with your child.

Come visit our table at Shelburne Day this Saturday, August 20th from 9 am-2 pm at the Town Green. Shelburne Day is a fun event, with opportunities to visit local food and craft vendors, listen to great music and learn more about Shelburne businesses. Vermont Day School will have an informational table, along with children’s activities. Be sure to stop by and say hello!

Welcome new and returning students! We hope you will join us for a casual gathering on the playground @ 3 pm on August 20th to greet one another and share stories from the summer. Additional details about this event and official invite to follow…. We look forward to seeing you!

Our teachers look forward to meeting with you before the school year gets underway! This is an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher, ask questions and discuss goals for the upcoming school year. Conference sign-ups will be emailed to families in early August.
