As their culminating project for a hands-on unit about simple machines, the 2/3/4 students are faced with the challenge of creating a compound machine that uses two or more simple machines to do its job. As part of the Design Thinking process, they created prototypes to test their designs. After reflecting on what works and what could be improved, they will begin to build their final product.
