All K-8 students are invited to join the VDS Ski & Ride Club after school on Thursday afternoons at Bolton Valley! The first day of the Club is Thursday, January 8th. Please reach out to Libby Macdonald for more information.

The VDS Upper School is thrilled to present their production of The Lion King, Jr. on Friday, January 16th @ 6 pm. Students have been working hard on choreography, lines, set and costumes in Theater and Art classes. We are all in for a real treat! Don’t miss this spectacular performance!

The performance will take place at the Blackbox Theater, Main Street Landing in Burlington. Tickets are $10 per person and available at the door.

The Vermont Day School Lego Robotics Team is going to the State Championships at Global Foundries on Saturday, January 17th!

Join us on Saturday, February 7th for our Fall Open House. Meet teachers, visit classrooms and learn what makes Vermont Day School unique! We offer two sessions for our Open Houses, based on grade levels for Fall 2026:

• Rising PreK- 3rd Grade: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
• Rising 4th- 8th Grade: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

All VDS families and guests are invited to our annual Winter Concert at the Shelburne Gym on Thursday, December 11th @ 6:00 pm! Students in PreK-8th grade will perform songs that they have been learning in Music class this year. We look forward to gathering together for this festive celebration of music and the season!

On Saturday, December 13th, the VDS Robotics team will compete in the FIRST Lego League regional competition in Shelburne. They have been working hard all Fall to prepare for this year’s archeology challenge. Good luck to the team!

 

Join us for our annual Gingerbread Festival celebration on Friday, December 19th from 3:00-4:30 pm. Come mingle with fellow parents and view the amazing Gingerbread structures that families have created. This year’s theme is: “We love Vermont!” We look forward to seeing the creativity in action!
