PreK -3rd grade students and families are invited to VDS on Tuesday, July 21st from 4:00-5:00 pm for a casual meet and greet on the VDS playground. Connect with old and new friends! We hope to see you there!

Vermont Day School is celebrating Green Up Day on Friday, May 1st. Families are encouraged to join us in the afternoon to help green up our campus. We will be planting our garden, picking up litter and raking wood chips. Let’s help Green Up Vermont!

Join us for the PreK-3rd grade production of an Underwater Adventure, “Snap & Splash!” Students have created the costumes and set, and are working hard on the music and lines. They are excited to share this wonderful performance with you! VDS families should check their weekly class newsletters for play times and details!

All VDS Family and Community members are invited to our annual Project Based Learning (PBL) Share on Friday, March 13th @ 2:15 pm. The PBL Share is an impressive showcase of learning, where K-8 students display their most recent projects in STEM and Global Studies. The PBL Share is open house style and attendees are encouraged to view multiple projects. We hope to see you there!

The 4th/5th grade class is hosting our annual Food Drive to benefit the Shelburne Food Shelf. This year’s goal is to collect 850 pounds of food and hygiene items. To donate, please bring in non-perishable food and hygiene items to Vermont Day School from 8-8:30 am, March 13-18. Thank you for your support!

Rising 6th-8th graders are invited to experience Vermont Day School! Come spend a morning with us, attend classes, meet friends & teachers and see what Vermont Day School is all about. Join us for the 4th annual Vermont Invention Fair, hosted at BETA, on Saturday, March 28th. K-8 Inventors from all over Vermont will display their inventions. To register, or for more information, visit the Young Inventors’ Program website. All participants and attendees must pre-register to attend this event. We hope to see you at this inspiring display of creativity and innovation!
