On Friday, April 11th, the PreK-3rd grade will perform “Winnie the Pooh.” Students will be involved with all aspects of the play production, from learning lines, music and choreography, to designing the set and costumes. It is sure to be a wonderfully creative and heart warming play!

During March 15-18, VDS Middle Schoolers will embark on an ocean ecology trip to Ocean Park, Maine. Stay tuned for more details and photos to come!

Prospective students who will be entering grades 4-8 in the Fall of 2025 are invited to visit Vermont Day School on Thursday, February 13th from 8:15 am – 12:00 pm. This is a great way to see what VDS is all about! Attend classes, get to know teachers and meet new friends! K-8 families are invited to our annual STEM Project Share on Friday, February 14th from 2:15 – 3:00 pm. This STEM Share is open house style and families are invited to walk around classrooms to see these impressive displays of learning. We hope to se you there!

It’s the VDS annual Gingerbread Festival! Families are invited to create a gingerbread structure to enter into this year’s contest. This year’s theme is “Your favorite decade”, in honor of Vermont Day School’s 10th anniversary! Come view the structures after school on Thursday, December 19th @ 3:00 pm while enjoying treats and beverages in the Community Room!

Join us for the Upper School production of “Willy Wonka” on Thursday, January 16th at Main Street Landing Theater in Burlington, VT! The show starts at 6:00 pm. Get ready to be dazzled by this impressive performance! Students have designed the sets, costumes, and learned lines, choreography and staging. Tickets are $10 at the door. We look forward to seeing you there!

Vermont Day School Performance of Annie, Jr. at Main Street Landing, January 2024

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King’s call to service, Vermont Day School students will engage in service activities on Friday, January 17th. In the past, we have partnered with Ronald McDonald House of Burlington, Spectrum Youth and Family Services, the Shelburne Food Shelf, as well as other local organizations. Stay tuned for this year’s partnership plans!

Prospective families are invited to visit Vermont Day School on Saturday, February 1st for our Winter Open House.
