Join us for our First Friday Parent Coffee on October 4th after morning drop off! Come down to the community for coffee, baked goods and casual conversation with fellow parents. We hope to see you there!

Our teachers look forward to meeting with you on Thursday, October 10th and Friday, October 11th for the first conferences of the school year. We will send out a digital sign up, as the date approaches. In the meantime, feel free to reach out as questions arise- we are here for you!

Grandparents and special friends are invited to join us for a special day at Vermont Day School on Thursday, October 17th from 10 am – 12 pm. Enjoy a warm welcome from our Head of School and Board Chair over coffee, visit your special student’s classroom and hear a wonderful music performance from our students! Look for Vermont Day School at the annual Shelburne Halloween parade on Sunday, October 27th. Participation in this community celebration is an annual tradition! Stay tuned to find out what our theme is for this year’s parade!

 

All Vermont Day School parents are invited to come to the first Friday parent coffee of the school year in the Community Room! Join us after morning drop – off at 8:00 or 8:15 am. Mingle with new and returning parents, enjoy a cup of coffee and hear a welcome from our Head of School. We hope to see you there!

Parents are invited to join us for Curriculum Night in your child’s classroom on Wednesday, September 18th from 6:00- 7:30 pm. Hear about all the great learning that is in store for your child this school year, visit the classroom, talk with the teachers and more! We look forward to seeing you!

Prospective families are invited to Vermont Day School on Thursday, August 1st (9:00 am) & August 8th (4:00 pm) to visit our school, meet with our Admissions Director and Head of School, and learn what makes Vermont Day School unique!

PreK-8 students and parents are invited to a casual gathering at VDS on Tuesday, August 6th from 4:00-5:00 pm to meet old and new friends. Students can play on the playground and with all outdoor equipment. We’ll have popsicles available! Hope to see you there!

We are looking forward to kicking off the school year at our annual all school gathering at Shelburne Beach, Monday, August 26th from 4:30-6:00 pm. This is a wonderful chance to connect with fellow students, parents, teachers and staff before the first day of school!

 

Students and parents in grades K-8 are welcome to stop but their classrooms on Tuesday, August 27th from 1:00-2:30 pm to greet your teacher, check out your classroom and bring in your school supplies. For K-8, these visits are optional and open house style, so come anytime during the 1:00-2:30 pm window.

For PreK Families, your PreK Teachers will send out a digital sign up for times to visit your classroom prior to the start of school.
